The twin sisters are played by the real-life American twins Denise and Diane Sloan.Monsieur Mendel, a rich businessman, has retired to Italy where he enjoys sailing. His secretary "takes care" of him so well that one day he has a heart attack. Learning that he doesn't have a long time to live, he asks Paul, his associate, to find the three daughters he has had. Paul finds the first one (Isabelle) in a sexy party in Paris. Then he finds Angelia who is a nurse in a convent in Calabra. A contact in New-York finds the third one (in fact twin sisters) who are prostitutes of some sort. Despite the hatred they all feel for their father, they agree on seeing him on his boat. Mendel tells them that the one who gets married for love will inherit his fortune.

A delightfully campy slice of 70's sexploitation. Before the XXX hardcore scene got into full bloom movies like this were churned out to fill the niche market of filthy perverts looking for cinematic sex thrills. Basically this one is a very dumb comedy with a bunch of sex scenes thrown into the shenanigans. I kept trying to figure out who the hell Sassy Sue was throughout the movie until the silly twist ending lets ya know. If you think hillbilly chicks are sexy this might be the movie for you. Director Bethel Buckalew made a whole slew of these countryfied sex flicks including THE PIGKEEPER'S DAUGHTER, another personal favorite of mine. Check em out ya pervy hicks.

Selected by Velvet as Best Picture of 1978 by Kal Lahue, one of only two top tens that superior critic ever did. This was a banner year for adult films, as more films from 1978 are rated superior or superlative than any other. The plot of SKIN-FLICKS involves Tony Hudson as an adult filmmaker ten days behind schedule on his latest epic, striving for the perfect ending while forced to listen to the ravings of his financial backer, played by Damiano.

The plot makes sense, it progresses to a logical conclusion, and by its very nature of design, allows for the extensive use of sex scenes. I am truly touched by the way Heather Young plays to perfection the role of a young girl getting started in the adult business. Her sex scene with Herschel Savage is classic poetic tenderness with more than a ring of truth. Beth Anna, in contrast, is just the opposite -- a sleek, sexy veteran of the industry. The balance between sex and story in complemented by the fine acting of the cast. Gillis is his usual best as a repulsive rapist leching after Sharon Mitchell.

Damiano has crafted an excellent and fairly realistic look into the world of sex films being made, with all the attendant trappings and pitfalls offered in a matter of fact manner. One of his five best ever.

A man is in bed reading Sci-Fi mags, and his wife seduces him. He then falls asleep, and the rest is his dream. He is from an alternate world, and disguises himself as an alien, then boards their ship, to keep them from attacking his planet. The captain is a woman, who has two lesbian encounters with her crew, and whips one of them for trying to have sex with our hero. All of the women are anxious to seduce our hero, as the other two men on the ship are not very exciting. Our hero forces a landing on an asetroid (actually the outskirts of Palmdale, California) and everyone runs around topless and has sex. plot:
This is the story of a woman who falls under the spell of a man who appears as a sadistic sophisticated. She accepts the proposal of being subjected to his power, in exchange for finding infinite pleasure. Things will not go so well as they had believed.

Recommendation of the owner of Video Club:

Damiano reigned in the early 70's. After that beginning almost clandestine and playful hand of Deep Throat, was almost immediately became one of the most interesting authors that were gender, just because I always wanted to go a little further in his films and never content to do porn conventional undemanding audiences. By contrast, in his films are concerned about creating stories and seek to shake the audience numb.
In this case, the man goes to the world of sadomasochism, giving his own version of "Story of O", a novel fashion by that time had already been adapted for the screen by Just Jaeckin (which can also rent our Video Club). Of course this time, Gerard explores the history, beyond what the orginal scheme presented, leading to end this story of love, pleasure-seeking or anything, or sadness and dissatisfaction with reality. Eroticism is replaced by anguish, upon submission, for education ... But history shows skepticism and bitterness at the end.
Great performance by Terri Hall, as Joanna and Jamie Gillis, who also plays a gay scene, something totally unusual in this genre.
Very interesting, dark film of ATS 70's in the USA Porn world.
